Last month, iQOO 10 series was launched in the Chinese market with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC. The vanilla model was launched in India today, but with a different name. The iQOO 9T for India is just the iQOO 10 but with a different name. iQOO is known for offering the best possible performance in a certain price segment, and the 9T is no exception. That’s because it features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC, which is the most powerful chip by Qualcomm currently in the market. And with a starting price of ₹49,999, the 9T is the most powerful phone in its price segment.
We already know the specifications, but just to recap, the iQOO 9T has a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and 1500 nits peak brightness. This phone is also one of the first to offer E5 AMOLED, which takes 25% less power than the E4 AMOLED panel. The panel supports HDR10+, and there is an under-display fingerprint reader. Under the hood, there is Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, and the phone also has Vivo V1+ chip that improves frame rates and colors for a better gaming experience. Also, it offers features to improve the camera experience. This chip is also present in the Vivo X80 series.
For gamers, there are two X-axis linear motors and in-display monster touch buttons, which means there are pressure-sensitive points on the display that you can make use of while gaming. There is also a 3930mm square Vapor Chamber liquid cooling system. Finally, there are stereo speakers but no 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of cameras, iQOO 9T has three on the rear. There is a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor for the primary camera with OIS, a 13MP sensor for the ultrawide camera, and a 12MP 2X Telephoto lens. Some camera features include Real Time Extreme Night Vision, Super Night Video, XDR Photo, Pro Sports Mode, etc. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP camera.
The battery size is 4,700mAh, and there is 120W fast charging support. Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box with FunTouch OS 12 running on top.

If you use ICICI bank cards or EMI transactions, you can get a flat ₹4000 discount which brings the price down to ₹45,999. The sale has already begun on iQOO India’s website, and the phone will be available on Amazon from the 4th of August.
